€37,44
The legendary sailor Knut Hansen is the face of our gin – an honest guy, who was not held up by anyone or anything, who took the freedom to see the places he always wanted to visit and who experienced countless adventures on his journey.
To us producing a regional gin means using regional botanicals. Next to the obligatory juniper, we process apples from the farmers around Hamburg, and cucumber as well as basil come from our own cultivation.

Our gin is produced in the “Dolleruper Destille“ in a copper 2001 still. In a complex process we distill our gin four times with an extremely low energy input in small batches.
In doing so we are able to conserve the unique KNUT HANSEN taste and protect the natural aroma of our gin.
Finally we manually fill the finished KNUT HANSEN GIN in our unmistakable stoneware bottles and seal each bottle with a high quality cork made of natural cork and our blue “handcrafted” label.
Best regional ingredients
WE HAVE A CLOSE EYE ON WHERE THE INGREDIENTS FOR OUR KNUT HANSEN DRY GIN COME FROM.
In this context it is very important for us to source our botanicals regionally. Our apples for example grow in “Altes Land” right south of Hamburg, cucumber as well as basil come from our own cultivation and the rose petals grow at a dyke at the Baltic Sea.
KNUT HANSEN DRY GIN is an homage to our homeland Hamburg and Northern Germany. Our product is representing the character of its origin – and it’s an honest invitation to a fine G&T.
